Sad, but true; through laziness, recklessness, complete incompetence, or a combination of the three, The Dependent‘s “By the Numbers” archive is empty, containing exactly zero new statistics. By no small coincidence, the percentage of Dependent editors who currently have a hangover is close to 100.

Jesse Donaldson is a writer, editor, photographer, illustrator, and one of the founders of The Dependent Magazine. He serves as writer and researcher for "This Day in Vancouver", is a regular contributor to "By the Numbers", and can be harrassed via email at jdonaldson@thedependent.ca He habitually refers to himself in the third-person.
