And while the media has quickly turned it into evidence of our wilful social isolation, it turns out that the number one reason we don’t know our neighbours is because we “seldom see them”.
We’re Number 63! Mercer’s 2012 Cost of Living Survey places Vancouver 63rd out of 214 cities, the second-highest ranking among North American cities (New York was ranked higher).
