According to data from Ipsos Canada, British Columbia has the highest level of smartphone ownership among adults in Canada. 62% of adult British Columbians own some manner of clever phone, compared to the national average of 54%. Despite what its slumping stock price might suggest, Blackberry is still the most popular brand, Ipsos reveals, capturing 40% of the market to Apple’s 23.
And, in more disturbing news, Ipsos also reveals that three in 10 Canadians have lost their phone or had it stolen.
