According to data from Environment Canada, Monday has seen a total of 187.6 mm of rainfall so far in 2011, making it the rainiest day of the week in Vancouver. Thursdays come a close second with 180.2 mm. Amazingly, Monday and Thursday held the same ranking positions in 2010, but with Monday seeing almost 18% more precipitation over the two year sample.
While Monday sees the most accumulated precipitation, Sunday is actually the day most likely to see rain, with precipitation recorded 52% of the time in 2010 and 2011.
