Political soothsayer and former Liberal leader Gordon Wilson predicts the demise of the B.C. Liberals, The Straight reports.

Global pulled a gem of a quote out of Christy Clark yesterday, pressing the premier on B.C. Hydro’s public call for dozens of public relations and opinion surveying contractors while the crown corporation’s finances are in shambles. “I can tell you this,” Clark told the news conference, “BC Hydro is going to be cutting 1,000 employees. That is my direction to them. Because we’re a government that is about creating jobs for British Columbians – private sector jobs.”

And Erin Millar over at OpenFile serves up an interesting analysis of Northern Gateway protest: More Enbridge opposition could mean more oil in Burrard Inlet.
